A boy and his jungle

Last night I found Hendrix sitting at his table having a snack with his Monkey and Tiger. I guess he needed some company from his jungle friends as he ate.

I'm reasonably certain that when Hendrix is a teenager I'm going to end up in a padded room with a straight jacket! He's already showing signs of what's to come.

Case in point: Whenever I ask or tell him to do something, he replies in a yeah, whatever voice "Okay, say so" as in Okay, if you say so!

New hair cut

I went out for a girls night last night. When I cam back, I discovered that Matt had given my baby a mohawk! The little boy looks cute no matter what!

Cymbals and Yikes

Hendrix has recently become obsessed with Cymbals...boy am I glad Matt doesn't have any cymbals to give him. Hendrix's new favorite word is Yikes! Here's a story about both his new loves...

Hendrix keeps smacking his hands together really hard and says "Cymbals" and then says "Yikes! Hands" when he realizes that smacking his hands together really hard hurts pretty badly.

Bronzed Shoes

For Christmas Matt's mom gave me a certificate to have a pair of Hendrix's baby shoes bronzed. I had a really hard time deciding which shoes to do because I don't really have any tiny shoes for Hendrix because I really didn't put shoes on him until he was about 6 months old. I finally decided on his little Guitar Robeez shoes because they're my favorite so he wore them the most frequently. I think they turned out really neat!

Cars and Coins

Today, while waiting outside for a friend, Hendrix spots a BMW. He walks up to it, gently pats it on the hood and says "Mine?"

Also today Hendrix got a quarter stuck in Matt's stereo. This is the conversation they had about it:

Hendrix: Coin in it?

Matt: Yeah is there a coin in it?

Hendrix: Yeah

Matt: Who put the coin in it?

Hendrix while shrugging his shoulders: Hendrix

This is a toddler...

This is a toddler on Coke! Any questions?

He's gone crazy! He's running around pointing at nothing yelling "YOUUUUU!"

Daily Funny

Hendrix just asked me for something and apparently I didn't follow through with his request quickly enough so he shakes his head, sighs very loudly and says "Seriously?"!!!! LOL! Nothing like a heavy dose of attitude from a 2 year old!

Funny of the day

While I'm putting on a clean diper on Hendrix, before I get it on, he suddenly yells "WAIT" and then rips a massive fart and laughs his head off! Where on earth does he get this stuff?
