4 Months Old!

I can't believe my little guy is already 4 months old!
He's 15 pounds, 13 ounces and 26 inches long
He loves to stand, watching TV (though I try so hard to limit that!), laughs and babbles all the time. He rolls over a lot now and scoots on his back. He's such a happy baby and we're so blessed to have him in our lives!

Four Years of Bliss

Four years ago today I married my best friend, the man of my dreams. During those years I've laughed harder than I knew I could, loved and felt loved more than I ever thought possible and had so many of my hopes and wishes fulfilled. Matt is everything to me, the one man who was able to mend my shattered heart, who sees and loves me for who I am and works so hard to provide for our family. I am the luckiest girl in the world and I look forward to spending the rest of forever with the most incredible man I've ever met.

If Hendrix had been a girl...

He would have been able to wear my latest creative pride and joy. I'm literally giddy about this crochet dress that I finally finished!

More Standing

Here's some more pictures of our little guy standing. They crack me up!

He Stands!!!!!

Okay, so he's not standing unassisted but I'm still pretty amazed by this! Hendrix loves to stand up all the time so last night I did a little experiment to see what he'd do. I stood him up and leaned him against the couch and he just stood there for the longest time! Now we just need to work on the balancing thing a little!

Recent Picture Randomness

Cute Cousins Kaylee and HendrixHandsome boy ready for the day, not too excited about having his picture taken

And my CRAZY sleeper! He starts off his night at one part of the crib and ends up at the completely opposite side. This particular night he even managed to wiggle his foot out of his footed pajamas!

Yet another post about milk

I know, I post about milk a lot but this one had to be said because I'm so amazed!
Before bed last night I pumped 16 ounces which I do several times a week but it's still crazy to think that I pumped out a pound of milk! Then 8 hours later, I pumped just over 18 ounces! HOLY COW! That's a new record for me and I had to take a picture of it. See:

TV and Tickles

The other night I set Hendrix down on the bed and he immediately became engrossed in the TV! He sat up like a big boy watching TV for the longest time-it cracked me up! Here he is watching TV, sucking on his fingers as always and holding on to a burp rag.

And Hendrix is so ticklish and it's absolutely adorable!

Hendrix's Blessing

What a wonderful weekend we had! We feel so blessed that we were able to spend time with family that came in from out of town. Hendrix got to meet Grandpa Bub, Aunt Kris, Uncle John and cousins Jake, Scott and Kaylee and reconnect with Grandma.
Because our ward is so overwhelmingly large and full of small children, we opted for a more intimate blessing for Hendrix in our home. He was blessed by his father and Grandpa Bub, Uncle John, Rob Pope, Steve Tingey, and Bishop Hinkins participated. Hendrix cried through most of the blessing because it interrupted his lunch and Matt's dad was so funny because he kept loudly "Shushing" Hendrix throughout the blessing. Matt gave an absolutely beautiful blessing!

Bye Bye Milk!

I'm finally donating all my excess frozen breast milk! My freezer is FULL! See...

That is 1176 ounces of milk which is 9.19 GALLONS!!! Holy cow! MOO

So I got a 50 quart cooler to ship it to the family in Idaho but the stupid thing isn't big enough! I'm going to go to Target first thing to get a 60 quart cooler which should do the trick.

I'm so excited that I can help the family in Idaho out. The poor mom is at her wits end because her twin boys can't eat anything but breast milk without having an allergic reaction. Hopefully my huge stash of milk will keep those boys fed for a little while!

And I'll never have to have a freezer stash again! My neighbors just adopted a beautiful baby girl and I'm going to give any excess milk to them. Hooray, I get to keep all my freezer space!

Hendrix and the Savior

Matt cracks me up! Today I found Matt putting this picture in front of Hendrix's face trying to get him to look at it.

When I ask him what he was doing, Matt tells me he's trying to see if Hendrix recognizes the Savior! He thought that since Hendrix was so recently with Jesus Christ that he'd smile at the sight of His picture! LOL! I love Matt!

Finally finished the blessing outfit!

Hooray I finally finished it! After getting a bunch of it done and realizing it was too small, redoing it so that it was larger and then realizing it was too big, improvising and making the excess look like a belt and adding a collar that wasn't on the pattern, I think it turned out pretty darn good looking!

April Fools!

I still have all of the positive pregnancy tests that I took when I found out I was pregnant with Hendrix. This morning I took a picture of one of the positive tests and text it to Matt telling him I'm pregnant again! I totally freaked him out! Hee Hee, April Fools Day is FUN!
