Remember the time that I'm a freaking dairy cow? I just pumped 14.5 ounces! Oh my goodness! That's all, just had to share.

Baby shots make me sad!

Hendrix got his 2 months shots today. He cried harder than I've ever seen him cry and it broke my heart! My poor sweet little guy took it like a champ though and is now sound asleep. Hopefully we're not in for a long night because of his shots!

Holy Cow! 8 Hours!!!!!

Hendrix slept for 8 hours straight through last night! We did our normal nightly bedtime routine with a bath, fed him a bottle and he was out cold by 7:00pm and didn't wake up to eat again until 3:00am! I still had to get up in the middle of the night but it was so wonderful that he slept for so long!

Giraffe Baby and Bubbles

My mother-in-law got me this adorable Giraffe outfit for Hendrix-it cracks me up! The thing that breaks my heart about this outfit is that it's a size 6 months! How is my 8 week old comfortably fitting into 6 month clothes? We went to the pediatrician today and Hendrix now weighs 12 pounds 8 ounces! He's put on 4 1/2 pounds in 8 weeks! I love my little chunky monkey!

Hendrix has started blowing spit bubbles all the time-it makes me laugh so hard!

If you bring the cookies, I've got the milk!

Okay, so the milk I have isn't the kind that you're going to want to drink but Hendrix sure is fond of it! I'm pretty sure I was a diary cow in a past life. I've been so amazed that not only have I been able to keep up with Hendrix and his huge appetite but I've got SO much extra! The top two shelves in my freezer are filled two rows deep and I'm working on the third shelf. Soon I won't have room for food in there! I've got a total of 566 ounces frozen-that's almost 4.5 gallons! I think Hendrix will have enough food for a long time, lets just hope the power never goes out.

Passed out! He loves being in his carrier and usually is sound asleep in no time. I took this picture because he just looks so funny and uncomfortable but he loves it.

New toy! A while back I'd bought a mobile for above Hendrix's crib that plays music and is supposed to help him sleep but instead it keeps him awake. I took it back yesterday and got this play mat instead. It kind of looks like a colorful baby prison but it's really a lot of fun, now we just need to convince Hendrix that it's fun!

A few cute things: Hendrix has discovered his hair and while he's eating he twists his fingers around in it-pretty much the cutest thing ever!

I think Hendrix has been trying to laugh, he'll smile a big huge open mouth gummy smile and make noises. The other day Matt almost got a laugh out of him-it was too cute.

Reflux Woes and Randomness

Hendrix's reflux has returned with a vengeance! We thought we had it under control with Zantac that he was put on but it turns out we were wrong! It turns out Zantac is very easily grown out of by babies, the more the weigh, the more medicines they need to take. Hendrix has been growing like crazy so the Zantac is no longer effective. I called his pediatrician and it took her nearly 2 days to call me back and unfortunately this isn't the first time it's taken her forever to call me back! I was LIVID! So now in addition to the Zantac, Hendrix is also taking Prevacid. I've also found a new pediatrician which I have an appointment with next week because I'm not satisfied with waiting around for a few days at a time for the doctor to find 5 minutes to call me back all the while my poor little guy is screaming in pain!

Hendrix is getting so big so fast! He's starting to wear 3-6 month clothes and he's wearing size 2 diapers and weighs 12 pounds! My little guy is growing up already!

He gets the hiccups all the time, just like me! The other day I was carrying him in his carrier while I was doing the dishes and we both had the hiccups and were hiccuping in unison!

Fun with Pee and Poo

Hendrix is a grunter! Any time he has any kind of business that needs to be taken care of in his diaper, he'll grunt so much just to make sure everyone knows about it. Our latest routine seems to be that after his 7:00am feeding, I'll put him back in his crib and though he'll be absolutely sound asleep he'll grunt for the next two hours. The grunting doesn't seem to really be out of discomfort because there's never any crying that goes along with it, I think it's just noises he makes because he can!

And this morning, Hendrix peed on his head! We've been really fortunate, he's only peed when his diaper was off maybe 3 times since he was born and I think two of those times was on Grandma! (We've since taught him of the error of his ways with peeing on Grandma because she's the one who keeps his cute little diapered hiney in the cutest clothes ever!) So since I'm not used to him peeing, I don't usually take any precautions-this morning I should have! Poor little boy got pee all over his head, in his ear and around his neck! Needless to say he immediately got to take a bath.

And lastly, on a side note, Hendrix is currently sound asleep in the bathroom! He loves his little swing (Thank you Grandma and Aunt Shelley) and he LOVES the sound of the bathroom fan and the combination of the two puts him to sleep in no time flat! Needless to say, he spends a lot of nap times in my bathroom! LOL
