Hendrix moves around a ton! It seems like he's always rolling around, kicking or punching me somewhere. So tonight I'm laying down and Hendrix is doing his usual acrobatics. I say to Matt-I wonder what he's thinking when he's moving around in there. Matt responds with-He's thinking I've gotta get out of here, I've gotta get out of here, I've gotta get out of here! Then one day he'll see a ray of light and he'll say to himself, I'm going that way!
Ha! Matt makes me laugh so hard!

Being Thankful, Strange Dream, Funny Story and Baby Hair
So much to blog about...
I've got to start on this Thanksgiving morning by writing that I have so much to be thankful for and I don't think I express it enough (in fact I think I whine more than anything!) I am so grateful for my dear friends and family, my incredible husband-without whom my life would have so much less meaning, and for the dear sweet, somewhat crazy, little boy that is growing in my belly! I'm thankful that I have my health, or at least will be restored to full health in a month, that we have our beautiful home and that Matt and I both have jobs in this tough economy. When I start to think of all the things I have to be thankful for I become completely overwhelmed and wish every day were Thanksgiving so that I can more fully and more frequently appreciate how good I've got it!
Strange Dream:
I dreamt last night that Matt for some reason became very adamant about me breastfeeding and he wanted to do something to help me "practice". So he bought me a small monkey and insisted I try to nurse the monkey! It totally creeped me out, I now think I have a fear of monkeys because of this dream!
Funny Story:
Hendrix has decided he HATES underwire bras! If I'm wearing one and I'm slouching so the wire is pressing on my belly, he gets really upset and starts kicking it. He kicks it so hard it actually makes my whole bra start to bounce up and down! He's done this 3 or 4 times now and it makes me laugh so hard every time!
Baby Hair:
Since my pregnancy is officially high risk, I now get ultrasounds every week-so fun! During my ultrasound yesterday, the ultrasound tech exclaimed "Oh my Goodness! He's already got so much hair!" I couldn't really see what she was talking about but apparently Hendrix already has a full head of hair! I can't wait to meet this little guy and see who's already shown to have so much personality! (Watch out cousin Scotty, I think Hendrix is going to give you a run for your money! Kris, I'm open to any tips!)

Sadly, this is what I have succumbed to...
Our bed is really high. When I stand next to it, the top of it reaches my ribs. Up to this point I’d been doing this ridiculous sad leaping thing to get into bed. I’ve finally gotten to the point where fear of injury has forced me to swallow my self sufficient pride and I bought a step stool so I can haul my spherical self into bed after my million mid-night potty runs.Sigh…

I have done it!
I have single handedly come up with a solution to all the country's national security issues and a resolution to the war! If all the terrorists and murders would just take more bubble baths, the world would be a much safer place. Who needs Chinese water torture, we just need to dunk them all into luxurious bubble baths.I figure if a simple bubble bath is all it takes to brighten the outlook of an uncomfortable pregnant woman, it's bound to do something for the demeanor of an angry terrorist right?

My Husband the iPod Vigilante...
About two weeks ago Matt bought an iPod that he found in the local online classifieds from a young guy for $60. The guy told Matt that everything works great and that it’s should be ready to have music loaded on it. Matt gets it home and we can’t get iTunes to do anything with it, so Matt takes it to the Apple store to see what the deal is with it. Turns out the memory is fried and basically won’t ever work again and they’d be willing to give him a 10% off credit towards a new iPod.
At this point Matt is pretty annoyed and decides to try to call the guy and see if he can get his money back. Of course the guy never returns his calls or texts. After talking to some guys from work, Matt and his coworkers come up with this grand scheme…Turns out the guy had other things listed online to sell-their theory is all the things either don’t work or had been stolen. So Matt’s coworker text the guy about one of the items saying he wants to buy it. They set a time and place to meet up to make the sale. Matt meets the guy at the agreed location and confronts him about the faulty merchandise. Boy was the guy scared! Matt had no intentions of doing anything to the stupid kid, he just wanted either his money back or for the kid to at least man up and admit being wrong. So Matt ends up coming home with $30 and an iPod Trip which allows the iPod to be played through the car radio and he kept the faulty iPod so he’ll still be able to get a 10% off credit at the Apple store.
Ha! Hopefully at least the kid learned something from it and won’t try to cheat someone else out of money!

My boy is no longer breech!!!
Yippee! I went in for an ultrasound yesterday and he's turned! No more breech baby-at least for now. Bad news is his head is measuring more than 3 weeks ahead but his body measuring right on track. My little boy has a gargantuan cranium-now I kind of wish I was going to have a c-section!I got a few more ultrasound pictures.
He's still got my cheeks...

And where on earth did that nose come from! Hope it's just the angle and he's not going to come out with such a big honker! ;)

Hooray for random pregnancy symptoms!
Latest one...I'm a drooler! When I wake up at night to pee (usually at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00) I wake up in a huge puddle of drool on my pillow! I swear one of these nights I'm going to drown myself!
I no longer have any shame, pregnancy has taken that away from me. I'm putting it out there for all to read, I drool like a slobbering freak!

32 Weeks! Only 8 to go...Maybe less!
I'm 32 weeks along today! Hooray! That means at the most I've only got 8 weeks left. Since he's measuring big still and I've got gestational diabetes, I wouldn't be opposed to them inducing me a week or two early. I now go in for weekly appointments with my doctor and I'll get yet another ultrasound in the next week or so. Hendrix is hanging out breech at this point. My doctor says because of his size, if he doesn't turn within the next 3 weeks he probably never will. Lets keep our fingers crossed that I won't have a c-section (or maybe I'm not quite as opposed to the idea as I used to be since he is a biggun!)

And I was just amazed by this, I've washed and hung up all of Hendrix clothes and all I've got to say is wow! I don't think I'll have to buy a single piece of clothing for him for at least the first year! Thanks to my awesome Mother-in-law, he's going to be the best dressed little boy in town!
